I was reading a post from a fellow blogging non-member of the housed society today and stumbled upon his tips for finding the perfect overnight parking spots. This was one very valid tip that hit home (pun intended):

"Never park near a grade school or a high school. People take child safety very seriously, and rightly or wrongly the homeless are going to be perceived as a threat. "

Wait, did he just tell me I'm a threat at the elementary school I teach at EVERY day?? And that's why I park across the street...
